In 2020, Halo Mastering was formed as an independent mastering team with a focus on preserving and enhancing the artist and producer’s final vision for her or his music. Enhancement without degradation is our goal. Every project is different and has different requirements and it is our job to find out what the project needs to get to the finish line. This comes through really digging deep in the music, not just from a technical standpoint, but truly working to feel the sensation of the record, the emotion, the balance, and the overall sound. We don’t approach mastering with a one track mind, we approach it with sensitivity and respect to the artist, producer, and mix engineer’s vision. We deliver a true analog mastering experience using high end conversion, a true to source transparent analog mastering console, and precise analog eqs and compressors that provide a huge step up in headroom compared to in the box mastering.
